Congratulations to former Bay State Jaguar, and current Bentley Falcon, Jen Gemma on being named NE-10 Player of the Week and NE-10 Rookie of the Week on December 23, 2013.

Gemma came off the bench to set career bests in points (20) and rebounds (12) during a 71-59 win Saturday at LIU Post for Division II’s number-one-ranked team. Playing only 17 minutes, she made 9 of 14 shots overall as well as both her free throws. Half of her rebounds came at the offensive end and resulted in eight second-chance points, all scored by Gemma.

Jen was also recently featured in an article which ran in Boston Globe South entitled “Milton’s Jen Gemma Ruling the Boards as a Freshman at Bentley.”
